Part of the criminology curriculum is the topic on comparative police systems...

During the August 2010 board examination, a lot of questions came from this topic according to the examinees, so i think it is high time for us to have some exchange of information regarding the systems of policing around the world...

Of course we know very well about our own PNP so lets talk about other police forces. The focus of the discussions would be on any of the following:
- official name
- historical background
- organizational structure
- manning level or total force
- entry systems or recruitment procedures
- education and training
- ranking system
- others....

i agree with the topic i just recently passed the board exam ang daming mga questions regarding comparative police studies which unfortunately hinde naituro sa amin during college days, sayang nag tour pa kame sa subject na yan to compare region 7 and region 9 kalokohan lang pala ung nirequire ng dean namin. i think dapat din isali ung mga history ng transnational relations ng criminal justice natin with other countries

if im not mistaken i can hardly remember one question during the exam it sounds like this "If the chief of the PNP has the rank of Police Director General what is the equivalent rank of the chief of the police commissioner in Hongkong? something like that

may malaking pagkukulang ang instructor mo.....seems he doesn't have any idea on what he is doing.

i take the board exam last august 2010, pinakamahirap po sken ung lead poh na subject kasi sa police comparative!
kahit sa review center poh di cya na discuss then kulang din nung college day!
