Sa lahat po ng security conscious pls go to TESDA and be assessed in your competency as one. There's nothing to lose but a lot to gain.

TESDA give competency assessment for the issuance of National Certificate II for Security Services. This is accepted abroad. This NC II is the proof that  a person possess skills , knowledge and attitudes that is acceptable by the industry. Ask CHAD and Gil sa warriors for further details

;DNC II is a proof that a security guard can perform according to standards in the field of Security Services, all guards who are assigned at Government Institutions are required to have NC II

8) NC II stands for National Certificate II given by TESDA, for Crim Grads go to TESDA for Assessment (SIR CHADE and SIR GIL of Warriors are Assessors) No need for Pre-license training, just bring all documents that you have pertaining to Security Services ( Seminars, TOR, Trainings,etc...) You will be assessed after scheduling and payment of fees. (I suggest to prioritize your board exam first.) ust review 11 GO's, Marksmanship (parts of cal. 38) , industrial security RA 5487 , Security Guard manuals, code of ethics, etc...

I do not agree about TESDA dipping their finger in the security aspect of our profession. Ang dami ng ahensya ng gobyerno nakikialam at incompetent naman sila magbigay ng certificate. Nandyan na ang PADPAO, PSIS. etc. para ano pa ang TESDA eh the PNP is the regulating agency for civil security to include issuance of licenses. Panbgpadagdag gastos lang yan.
