The Federation of Authors in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Inc. officers and members will sponsor a seminar with a theme: “Strengthening Criminal Justice Education Program in the Philippines”. This seminar is endorsed by CHED as part of the continuing effort to further professionalize the Criminology and Criminal Justice Education program of the country. The seminar will tackle on the following:

New trends and issues in Criminology and Criminal Justice Education
Strengthening of the Criminology Profession through networking and encouraging criminology professors in writing books based on PRC and CHED syllabi
General review for the August Criminology Board Examination

In line with this, we are calling your Administrators, Deans, Librarians, and Faculty members to join us this two (2) days activity. The seminar will be held on July 26 – 27, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Bicol College Gymnasium, Bicol College, Legazpi City, Albay.

A Registration Fee of P2,500.00 will be collected to cover the participant’s meals and snacks, certificate of participation, seminar kits with books, FACCI journals and other miscellaneous expenses.

Additionally, we are also inviting your graduating students and reviewees to attend the second day of the seminar. The FACCI officers, who are former board examiners, will conduct a general review on tips and methods on how to hurdle the criminology board examination. The student- participants will only pay P500.00 for the certificates and review kits.

I hope FACCI will hold the same seminar in Metro Manila so us in Luzon and Visayas could attend. Medyo malayo kasi ang Bicol... I hope you understand 

yeah... meron na. Our school received one but the admin is not too enthusiastic to send us because of cost-cutting ek-ek... Mas type nila ng training that lasts for more than a week.

I understand your sentiment as i am also in metro manila. But as I received FACCI invitation yesteday, i found out the FACCI seminars goes nationawide in the year round. Attached is a CHED endorsement with the schedules and Metro Manila is set for December this year.

My friend, i can not attend the Legaspi (Bicol) Facci schedule but i promise to send 7 of my graduating studs and 3 of my faculty.
I will attend the Baguio seminar with our friends in the NBI and FBI on the same date. Naunahan ka ni Sir Temi kasi he he he.
