Who is the father of Psychology?

Is it Sigmund Freud or Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt?

Other books say's its Freud but other says its Wundt. As per wiki.answers.com, Sigmund Freud is often referred to as the father of psychology. However this isn't correct, Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt is considered the father of psychology.

I have friends who are psychology students in New Era U, they say its Freud.
