hahaha! pwedi yun, 3 years nalang hintayin na declare niyang deadbol si father. ang dami proceso niyan, ay yung akin wrong spelling ang name ko sa birth certificate ko, tapos iniyakan ko pa, pinapapalit ko, ang dami dami dami pinapagawa,, ang ginawa ko, school records nalang pinalitan ko instead of the birth certificate, haha, nakakaloka ang legalities, spelling lang yun, as in kulang lang ako ng isang tumataginting na "s" so imagine the odds sa entire surname? wish ko lang hindi mahaba ang surname na ipapalit niyo, LOL...

do not take my post seriously, have mercy on your soul..LOL > > >

I reread this post.. I find it now more interesting than ever.

It shows that women nowadays are more independent and liberated - the exact opposite of long ago. If before, women would do everything just to give the sperm' donor's name to her child, now it's the reverse! She got the name given to her child but she wanted to undo it! All becoz he is a non-functioning father..
See.. women of the present times are more practical..

On second thought, if the name does not cause embarrassment to the child, let the child use it because it was the law working. It was what the rule of the land said.. Let the father acknowledge the child... Lo and behold! His name will be his/hers and become his righful heir (if ever he has riches)!

When the mother marries another man, they can adopt her child and the child can use the name of the new guy. That happened to my nephew who was already 17 when the adoption took place.
