May mga instructor kasi na hindi nagrerenew ng license sa PRC... what about you guys? required un db?

Renewal of PRC license is mandatory... failure to do so means penalty..check prc for the amount

I suggest that Deans should not accept Criminologist with expired license to teach. They are not setting a good example. They should be proud of this license and renew it periodically.

Sabi ni sir Junsy, deans should not accept criminologist with expired license but i would say that this is what is being practiced. Di talaga makapasok ang isiang applicant sa ano mang trabaho na expired ang kanyang license. At yong nakapasok naman sa trabaho, i think the employers are updating regularly FILE 201 which include renewal of expired licenses.

Omigosh this thread is becoming irritating na. Para ano pa na tawagin tayo professional when we cannot attend to the most basic in our profession, that is, to renew our license as mandated by law. Pero teka. Bakit nga ba tayo renew ng renew ng license, eh sa anong dahilan? For PRC to have more funds? Siguro magparadigm shift tayo. Once you pass the board examination, the PRC license originally issued should be lifetime na. No need to renew periodically. Didn't you noticed, marriage license is issued only once unless you celebrate your silver or golden wedding anniversaries. You think this is one good point for PCAP to think about para makatipid naman tayo. Kung ayaw naman, pwede rin natin ipropose na ang renewal ng license by region na lang para di na tayo punta Manila. Magastos eh.

i didnt mean to irritate anyone here guys... the question was clear: "Nagrerenew ba kayo ng license?" Please do not philosophize on the renewal of licenses, essence of a license, etc...

I asked again coz very few, as in few, answered my question. An implication that many can't answer because they do not renew? Well, it would be a haphazard conclusion to make.

I am just interested to find out whether it is a common practice among criminologist to renew their licenses. I know many who do not renew. So is it a widespread practice? Depends sa answer nyo lang ang magiging conclusion.

Offshoot ng thread na to ang discussion nyo sa PCAP. If many do not renew, then you propose to PCAP to stop requiring a renewal.

Oh Mamdulz am so sorry. I don,t mean anything when I said its becoming irritating following this post. I understand since it was you who started this. But you are also right to noticed that the answer are mostly off topic. Precisely I earlier commented not to accept applicants for teaching position those who have expired or don't bother to renew their license because I recognized the value or importance of having current licences among us. Gusto ko lang sana magpatawa ng sinabi ko na like our marriage licenses, one time lang ang issuance. I raise my hand to you in surrender. No more further comment in this thread.

I keep coming back to rkmfiles because here we have intelligent discussions and kudos to you and agitator for keeping the forum alive. i appreciate your ideas so much that i look forward to reading your comments and reactions.

as to this thread, maybe i could safely say that my question was already answered.

renewal of license is being taken for granted. PCAP, as the frontrunner of criminology in the country, should seriously consider imposing a more strict measure for those who do not renew their license. Marriage licenses are one-time, oo nga naman. Having passed the board exam is enough na din sana so as to minimize corruption.

I hope this reply would be the last and let us pour out our goddam ideas somewhere else.

nacurious lang ako, pati pala sa pagrenew ng license may corruption? wala nabang corrupt free department sa atin?  ;D

though i have to say siguro yung sa professional license as criminologist, yearly renewal is good kasi nga diba it's dynamic, so when one renews napipilitan kang magattend ng seminars for the points needed, it forces one for continued education which is needed in exercising the profession... so i have to say i agree with the yearly renewal. off topic, please don't dissect and perform an autopsy on me mamdulz, haha!

ang hindi ko maintindihan ang driver's license, bakit kailangan pang irenew, yearly!? hindi naman dynamic ang driving, gas, clutch manibela , tapos hahaha!
