mahirap ba maging criminologist? bakit? anong mahirap sa pagiging criminologist?

Mas mahirap mag-apply sa police...! walang mahirap sa pagka criminologist. 

Hirap nga mag apply ng security guard sa police pa kaya hehe.....

sa akin di mahirap maging criminologist bastat meron kang initiative

In my experience, there's nothing hard being a criminologist. In fact, being one gives you so much opportunity to reach your full potential. Just like any other vocation/profession, in order to suceed will entails a lot of sacrifices. It starts the moment you decide to take up the course. One should craft a roadmap and steer clear of any road hazards that will affect or derail your pre-plotted course. Focus is the key to reach your objective. Damn the torpedo. Full speed ahead.

Oo nga Bad image talaga ang Pulis Pag yan ang nasa utak ng mga tao panu kaya maalis yan sa utak nila..kahit nga mga walang utak pagtanungin kung sino ang buwaya sa kalsada alam nila... 

The comment/observation of Nikko and McVrook is well taken. This particular bad image of the police is something we have to correct. Certainly, as graduates of Criminology, we are not predisposed to join an organization whose general image to the public leaves much to be desired. Its really up to us, in our own little way help to reverse this malady in the police service. Otherwise, we will simply be taken over, eaten and becomes captive to this outrageous culture of the police. We Criminologist should strive to make the difference when we decide to join the police force.

i believe na if you really like what you are doing, it will never give you a hard time. although na sometimes mahirap you are doing the best and develop youre self. its like the other courses lang yan, knyang knyang linya lang ng needs and wants yan. tayo we are criminologist we have to be it. we have to change ung mga sort of bad impression ng iba sa pagiging pulis. sabi nila one of the powerful tayo, nirerespeto pero minsan inaabuso ng iba ung "fact" na yun.

 

mahirap kasi matindi ang red tape? plan mo ba magsecurity guard? choose the agency very well...

huwag nyo nang pag- aksayahan ang pagiging security guard, u just concentrate ur profession sa pagiging police.i know mahihirap ang pagdadaanan natin pero walang mahirap sa taong masikap.

Lets not belittle the job of the security guards. We are, in fact, a part of this segment of employees. Think how difficult it is for the police without the complementary presence of the sekyu in many high value industries abounding in many parts of the country. They do dangerous job save that many do not appreciate their sacrifices. We graduates of criminology should have great affinity with them as we learned from one of our subjects, Industrial Security Management, the broad concept of industrial security. We do have produced many heroes from the sekyu groups so lets be proud of them. You may not know but many made a successful life from the industrial security field of our profession.

tama walang mahirap sa taong nagsisikap un lng yun...

i said earlier, walang mahirap sa pagiging criminologist kung may initiative ka but i changed my mind when i heard one saying "welcome to the unemployed world" after the recent board examination. Hirap nga talaga sa ngayon, lalo na walang solid na leadership sa mga kapatid natin sa profession to initiate our interests. sooner or later the tri-bureau will be full of non criminologists even the blue guards so saan na kaya tayo tatayo.... ahhhhh...mag care giver na lang at ng makapag ibang bansa at ng makapag punas punas ng pwet!  >

yeah... may misconception ata about the security guard/personnel. Did you know that with the right agency and with the right qualifications, a Crim graduate who lands a job as a security guard could earn more than a criminology instructor does? If I am not mistaken, ang isip ng iba kasi pag sinabing guard, blue guard agad ang akala. Go to Makati area. The guards there wear barong tagalog and they earn as much as 30thou a month! It's about time na marealize ng mga Crim grads na hindi lang para sa pagpupulis ang course nyo. Andaming pwedeng pasukan but the problem is, you sell yourself short.

mag masteral na lang tayo para makarami sa academe he he he ;D
