HHM, personally i think some representatives of the church are misleading the public with such claims....ignorance could kill a nation, not all legal matters should be moral, that's why there is a separation of the church and state, but when will this be realized?... :-X

As our Lord God have gave us the freedom of choice, you are free to do with your life without casting aspersion to our religious leaders. The are our moral guardians and morality is not really we are as a people. The commandment .. . Thou shall not kill is one we should not triffle with. Killing could be done in many ways. Our church teaches us that using contraceptives by whatever means is one of them. Believe them now or ask  God foregiveness later. Its your choice.

would one rather see a child in the streets, unsheltered, begging for money, selling cigarretes, uneducated, sniffing solvents just to get through the day than use a contraceptive? i do not mean to cast a bad light on the church, her representatives' declaration that contraceptive is a form of abortion is their own interpretation of God's words, God did not say it outright, we are all entitled to such interpretation of things, as you have said it is a choice.

i just think that the needs of the state are sometimes clashing with the call of conscience.

if i were to spare a hundred lives from the rude and cruel lashings of poverty and all the pain that goes with it by sinning. i can still face God with dignity and i know He will forgive me.

i think contraceptives and condoms is okey.... kung pababayaan lang natin na dumami ang mga kabataan sa lansangan lalo lamang magdurusa ang ilang pamilya dahil walang family planning. contraceptives and condoms is one option of family planning..... walang masama sa paggamit nito. at paano magiging abortion to hindi pa naman nabubuo ang bata sa sinapupunan bago gumamit nito.... kung akala nang iba na masama problema na nila yun, magpadami nalang kayo at walang planu...... kung kasalanan ito sa Diyos bakit pinanganak ang nag imbinto nito???????? yan ang malaking tanong!!!! 8) : ;D

Yup contraceptive and condom does not constitute abortion in fact it is one of the ways and means of eliminating abortion but for me i will promote the natural method of birth control...!

if being poor is a gift, well, i'd say, well the Philippines is well endowed, we should be happy, LOL, tell that to the people in the squatters area with ten mouths to feed out of a pack of noodles and 1 kilo of rice for the entire day, i'm sure they are not so happy with their God given gift.

The church is not opposed to family planning. What it objects is the method. The use of contrceptives among them. What they suggest to couples is the natural method, that is we make love to our beautiful wife only when it is safe and not result to unwanted pregnancy. I fully believed this is not difficult to do. That is why we are required to attend pre-wedding seminar to know our responsibilities as future parents, to include having the number of children we can decently support. Having more children than you can afford is no longer responsible parenthood.

in my own perspective in life, its not still abortion. you just stoping to grow ung mga unwanted things. its hard to control ngayun mga kbataan, in sa knila ang prmarital sex  sabi nga nila sex is also a need pero not often. considering this contraceptives it helps people/family na mag planning na mas better kasi if you cannot support your siblings eh you have to plan, if you are earning monthly na average lang and you know in yourself you can only have 2 child, you have to use contraceptives, parami ng parami ang mga tao masikip na ang mundo lalo na sa mga btang kawawa lang pag lumaki na wlang pingaralan. mas mahirap yun government should think, im not against churh. pero they  should also understand, this natural way marami parin nabobomba dun. theres nothing wrong in using contraceptives.

Yaaa, i agree there's nothing wrong by using contraceptives but be careful on how to use it baka mamaya mawala yung contra  ceptives nlang matira diikado yan hehe...gets?!!!!
