CHED MO 48 S2006 provides that CHED shall identify, support and develop potential centers of excellence in program areas needed for the development of world-class scholarship, nation building and national development. The Criminology profession has been identified as one of these COE's and COD's. May I ask, How far have we gone to achieve a world class criminology education in the Philippines? Are there any group or individual working towards the attainment of the spirit of this MO? Ws professionals, ew should join forces to achieve it. 

so far, there are only three schools in the country with COE status. Univ of Cordilleras, Univ of Baguio and Univ of Luzon (Dagupan)

last April 2009 board exams there were already 297 schools. only 3 are COE and 2 are COD
