i've lots of bad encounters with cops which made me errrr dislike them. no offense meant, a lot of my relatives are cops and in military. do you think these cops need to go back to school and learn bout manners and etiquettes?

take this for one.

i was walking with my friend in la trinidad area, infront of PNB, when this lady cop came and blew her whistle. the heck! that really hit my ears. "enya metten kitan you met ah pag sulsultipan you!" i said loudly hoping she'll hear it. i didn't noticed the another lady cop who is behind her who heard it who just stared at me and lifted her brows. when i looked back they're both looking at me. i should have gone back and confronted herand maybe got myself arrested. (buti kung sa session na sabi ni AA para sa P 7 ako dadalhin)but well, i know my rights.

cops should learn when and where to blow their whistle especially this traffic enforcer! hay na apo. I can't believe what i saw in baguio!

no offense meant!( ;D ;D I might be hated in here. wahahahahaha!)

ganyan naman talaga eh, the public always see the wrong side and often praise the good side of the police on beat becz of bad encouters with them. pero sa akin may training naman ang mga yan about how they should act in public. kaya lang meron at meron talagang matitigas ang ulo at nagkataon na sila yong nakikita lage.

in my opinion, they need not to go back for etiquette training. i think just constant reminders on their police ethical standards and thats the challenge on the part of their chief to see to it they practice these standards.

i am not a criminologist nor a policeman but this is the way i see things in the police service. i had bad encounters too and sometimes as per observations, its us - the public who often makes bad actions so that police looses tolerance on us.

maybe we are just expecting too much from them disregarding our part as citizens

Maybe these are cases of power corrupting people. Maybe we can turn this into a complaint thread. >

A few years ago my brother was also a victim of police brutality. He was drinking with a friend at a bar somewhere in La Trinidad, they had this cellphone they were offering to sell to the waitress. Unfortunately there were also plainclothed policemen drinking there and all of a sudden they started interrogating my brother since he was the one selling the phone for his friend. They blindfolded, beat, and forced him to admit that he was a cellphone snatcher and drove him over to someplace blindfolded and later released him at the Municipal Police Station. Though my brother may look rugged, he's no thief. When I heard what happened I wanted to do some crazy stuff but my brother didn't get their names since they didn't call each other's names and were not in uniform. Though he says he can identify them.

Ako naman i'm in U but what i can say is that kanya kanyang view naman when it comes to policing. Although i am just new to the service i know beforehand that there is a very low public acceptance to the PNPs services that is why sa amin naman ay ok lang mag comment kayo ng bad comments. On my part, maganda na may feedback ang public sa services namin and we were told to exercise maximum tolerance sa bagay na mga ganito.

Personally, di naman lahat ng pulis ay walang discipline o kayay brutal. Its just most of the time, its the bad act of the police that is being always attended by the public and often they appreciate what good acts. Kaya nga sa amin we say "when i do wrong, no one forget, when i do right no one remembers". ganyan talaga, police lagi nakikita.

eh bakit yong ibang tao djan, ibang profession - nakikita ba nio. Whta about you as a person, mismo, may disciplina ka ba?

I knew I was going to regret posting that. Sorry I forgot to say I'm not generalizing all men in U. Nadala lang sa kwentuhan. Tama si pintados at Bullet, we should focus more on the good and not the bad.

i think tama lang na we expect too much of our policemen. i said this because i learned that once your're in the service, you should act as the model citizen, you have no private life and all eyes are on you. so with this beforehand, dapat lang na alagaan mo pananalita at actuations mo bilang pulis.

FLIRTINGS  po sa NAIA ....  ;D I know they are trying to be nice but... dang  ;D.. kakahiya I was w my mother ... dami nilang tanong while going thru  my baggage, like why do u have to leave the country , may boyfriend ka na.. haha , what work do I do ...ay apo aya ... cant really lie too much abt my name, etc...cause they (yup 3 of them)  are looking at my passport ... they cant get away either cause their badges says their names and all.

I can tell mom is getting tired and I told her to go find us a place to sit. While I have to find a way to hurry this process and get over it. The more I get upset, the more they like it. I guess I have to flirt w them back. IT WORKED ...

...men in U.... should we be scared by them or should we be friendly with them......am talking about them children, just wondering why most kids are afraid when they hear the word police or policeman, parents and elders tend to use this words to let kids behave and obey them...like "cge ayabak jay pulis, hala stop crying" sort like this...... should we change this pulis image to kids or is it an advantage for them elders to do this?  :  ;D

We can't just ignore the bad experiences of the people with the men in "U". It takes courage, determination, guts and even (money) to enter the service. They swore to defend, protect and serve the people as part of being a man in "U". Most of them performs such but a few abuse or misuse their people given power. I believe that it is time to weed out the bad from the good. Please report to proper authorities such abuses. It's time to end now. Remember " THE WORST KIND OF MEN ARE THOSE THAT SEE AND FEEL BAD THINGS DONE TO OTHERS BUT THEY JUST STOOD THERE AND DID NOTHING!!!
The courage we desire and prize is not the courage to die decently, But to live manfully. Thomas Carlyde
